CLARIFICATION:

AUDIO DREGS RECORDINGS: A record label and music collective founded around 1996 and is resposible for over 40 releases from artists from at least 8 different countries, as well as Portland, OR. The focus is described as "experimental music made by people equally in love with melody and invention."

E*VAX: is a different person/producer than E*Rock. They are brothers and E*Vax has also been involved with Audio Dregs Recordings since it began, where he released his first solo music. E*Vax also plays in the band Ratatat on XL Records.

WYLD FiLE: A video music production team who's goal is pushing a genre of flash music video animation to the NO limits. It was founded by E*Rock and Paper Rad in 2005. Music videos have been created for Beck and The Gossip.

FRYK BEAT: A label created for disjointed pop and-dance music that didn't fit under the umbrella of music released on Audio Dregs because of its more vocal nature. It was founded by E*Rock and Eric Johnson in 2006, and operates as a the mutant sub-label to Audio Dregs.

LIGHT & SOUND: The "art blog" of current E*Rock design, projects, sketches, and animation updates hosted by Portland's Urban Honking blog center. It is also embedded as the "news" section of this site.

SUPERNATURE: Is a monthly dance party held in Portland by DJ BJ, DJ Copy and E*Rock and generally includes live acts as well as the resident DJs.

COLLECTIVE JYRK: A now defunct art stimulant founded by E*Rock and D. Yellow Swans in 2001, it later also morphed into Pete Swansons CDR label for noise and out music.

THUMB ZINE: A music and art zine from 1996-2000, started with friends in college and evolved over 12 issues. The 13th issue was growing quite large focusing on musicains that and their visual art and vice versa; but everything was lost in a drive crash before it could be published.

1999: A "Rock band" made with one part pop, one part dance, one part noise. Upcoming releases on Fryk Beat. (??) perhaps. The idea (in the year 1999) wasthat it would be a sort of appocolyptic dance rock band, but only two or three shows ever happened as a band, followed by short tour or two as a solo project.

CARPET MUSICS : An early ambient recording project by E*Rock and Eric Diaz, with releases on Audio Dregs Recordings (1999 & 2001).
